Pillow behind shoulders is another good idea. Wonder if I can get it behind me with my sling on after surgery. Thanks Again

I use a "CPAP" Pillow. It has a larger sized hump and a smaller one. I use the larger to "hook" it over the back. It is harder to do with a office chair if not a high back.
I have sleep Apnea, never heard of a cpap pillow. Tomorrow is the big day, I'll be back when I can.
One side is flat, the other side looks like a Sine Wave, with one large wave and then a smaller one. They call them Contour pillows, but some places like patient care call them CPAP pillows, so that they are covered as DME for insurance.
Hope that everything went okay and that you are able to use Angry Birds or something else as Physical Therapy to keep your hand moving. I rocked every Angry Bird game until I basically got tired of it.
typing one handed,no caps, just plain type. trying to get my voice to text set up soon.
surgery went o.k. outpatient. i was wired the whole first day. no sleep the first night at all. i had little pain, imagine that, but really deep muscle aches. pain comes and goes now.
i had a severe allergic reaction to norco, had to be taken by ambulance back to the hospital. Surgeon quadrupled my doseage.
i get the stitches out next tuesday. then start pt.
i can only take my arm out of the sling twice a
day to exercise it.
