    Lock screen setting windows closes automatically after one second


    Help--i can't change my lock screen settings...when i open lock screen settings, it closes automatically after one second and it won't allow me to change settings...desktop wallpaper settings does not have the same problem

    Welcome to the forum hreich, this is a known issue with the latest build and hopefully it will be fixed by the next one.

    Navigating to Settings > Personalization > Lock screen may crash Settings app.

There are plenty of how to's showing the procedure using Windows Spotlight but I do not want to use that nor do I want a slide show and in addition I would prefer not to install any software that would accomplish this although a completely self...
I am aware of the guide to change the lock screen background image, in fact I have a customized image. But is there a way to cycle through a folder images and change the lock screen image automatically? Perhaps using a batch file at every startup...
I have been looking at the Lock Screen Background tutorial. I should be able to set the image from my Photo App however my Photo App doesn't look anything like the screen in the tutorial with no option to set as Lock Screen from the drop down menu...
