    Yup, I'll go with Mystere's suggestion - a re-install is required for kernel failure - the "fake" digital licence will be re-instated..

    I have 2 Custom computers, one originally had Win7 and the other Win8, both are now running Win10 Pro, neither has the 'built-in' OS marker.
