Control Panel - can't save Large icons view - defaults to original

    Hi there

I still prefer using the control panel rather than go hunting around in settings / right mouse click etc etc --especially if Ms have renamed some of the options.

The control panel is still there in W10 CU edition (1703 X-64 Pro) however if I change the view to large icons which is what I like it reverts back on the next use to the standard by category. I can't find any way to change it -- I'm running from desktop icon as shown.

    1) Preferred view

Control Panel - can't save Large icons view - defaults to original-cp1.png

    2) Always get this default view

Control Panel - can't save Large icons view - defaults to original-cp2.png

    Any way to fix it.

    Thanks

    Cheers
