No Logo Appears on Desktop Shortcut Icon

Dsktp shtcut icons for website pages. I go to website page, copy url. Then clk blank area on desktop/new/shortcut/paste the url/type name for shortcut/finish. When it shows on desktop, it is just the white square with 'the big e' in it with the name I named it underneath.
How do I have the identifying logo, etc, of the website instead of all the same white e-box? Don't know how I did it before, but I do have google and yahoo on desktop with some type of their identified logo.

I have 6 on the tablet, 4 of them I just did and got the white box. I had all 6 on my old laptop the "regular" way with their logo.

I rt clk icon/properties, there is no tab "customize". Theree is a way, as I did it before,somehow.

How do I even find tools/internet options? Don't have the gear icon at top right like I had on laptop. The second fix method to check says to open expl/tools/int options,etc. Plus, it says its for when the shortcut wont open. Mine open, but they're all 'the big e'.

Figuring out things on this tablet seems much different, and difficult than on a laptop, is that normal? I get all mixed up trying to use this tablet And the 'regular' looking shortcuts I do have, I know I did not do them the way I did these other ones (copying url, etc). I just cant recall how. And I'm using mouse now, easier figuring out how to right-click.
