    No I dont think so ... it just sat at the error message...fairly certain message was from the BIOS... message was very early on in bootup...it didnt then go to desktop... I had to hard reboot with the computer button and press F2 to go back into BIOS and reset chipset to RAID to get my desktop back, same as yesterday

    Not sure what to say at this point. You want to get some rest and come back to it tomorrow? When simrick will be back?

    will KYRI software run from a DVD/ CD rom? could that be an option?

    Yes, it will......might be a good option.

    Abenavraham... I'm sorry if I missed your posts ... I replied directly to the one I saw earlier from you but I see that you too suggested using a dVD in a later post ... at the same time that I asked about it ...we must have crossed posts ... I am having to use an iPad to access this at the moment and I have to refresh the page to get new posts ...I was on an awful laptop earlier with the same issue refreshing page and to go with it a rubbish keypad mouse. It truly wasn't a deliberate thing on my part. Some of the posts seem to turn up later after I respond to one and I must have missed that one from you.

    I missed this entirely abenavraham ..sorry .. but I had wondered the same and actually had asked about it the day before post 31...so great minds ... tho I am sure yours is greater than mine on this stuff! And thanks for confirming the idea is an option
