Windows 10: Multiple Desktops - not as expected, do I not understand purpose? Solved

    I can hide my groups of icons and only see them when my cursor is over any particular grouping:

    I always had the Task View button hidden but after playing about with Virtual Destops, since I read this thread, I have come to like it a lot. In fact, for me, it's the best new feature in Windows 10.

    I never have any icons on the Desktop so that's not an issue.

    And using Windows Key + Ctrl + Arrow to switch Virtual Desktops makes it very slick to operate.

    I like the idea but functionality seems limited. I will go back and look again and experiment with this feature.
