    Desktop icons keeps changing its' place upon bootup


    hai

    so im a normal guy with normal desktop icons arrangements. but everytime i boot up my windows, doesn't matter from complete power off or a restart. it's a minor problem but i'd like to get it fixed.

    it used to just be 1 icon (roblox) that were out of line but now IDM aswell. keep in mind that i don't play roblox - not me.

    thanks for the reply. i tried out desktopOK and it worked wonder. did a clean boot earlier and it seems to be in line like i want it to be.

All I found so far by Googling was that one should set 'arrange icons to a grid', or similar. That option is already enabled. In fact, the only icon I have on my Windows 10 desktop is the Recycle Bin, but any time other icons or folders are placed...
This started after I did a refresh installation. While many of the icons remain where they are, some of them refuse to stay put when I move them. They spring to another position. What might be causing this bizarre behaviour?
It's not the end of the world, but since a recent Windows update my desktop icons won't stay where I put them. In addition, after my computer boots up and everything is loaded, desktop icons do not appear on their own. I have to right...
Until build 10074, I could go to Personalize then Change desktop icons to put This PC, my account folder, Control Panel and Network icons on the desktop. That's gone now, so how do I get them there now? 19235
Clean install build 10130. I can't find anywhere to choose the icons I want on the desktop. Used to be able to do this from Personalization but not any more. Can't find anywhere in Control Panel either.
