Creators Update : Blank login screen after sleep mode?

Hi, I've run into a wide variety of similar issues by searching but none specifically like the one I have, so sorry in advance if this has already been mentioned.

This problem started after the Creators Update. Anytime my system goes into sleep mode (I'm on a laptop so any time I close it), the user login field does not appear on the screen. Upon re-opnening the laptop, I am guaranteed to see the screen with the background with time & date in the lower left. If I click or press any key, the screen changes but my username and password field are missing. I still have access to the bottom right buttons (power, internet etc), so thankfully I can restart without any problems. The login screen appears after a seemingly random number of restarts. If I restart and the login field does not appear, I simply restart again until I see it. The number of restarts required to access the login screen is random, 1-3 times. After I login my computer works normally with no problems.

This is pretty much the only problem I have, my laptop is almost 2 years old and still in very good shape. If anyone has a fix let me know! Thanks in advance :)

Hi obstx and welcome to Tenforums.
Not sure about this, but have you got Fast Startup turned off? That's the first thing I would do.

Maybe some others will have more ideas.

Hi, I´ve had a similar problem after getting Creators update and I got solution on the internet: In "run" type msconfig and it will open System configuration, then in General section select Selective startup and unselect Load startup items.

    This works for me. :)
