    Windows 10 CU update error on my tablet


    Hy all !


    I tried yesterday updated my Teclast X98 tablet, the my Windows 10 AU, to Windows 10 CU.
    The installs is OK,but the Windows don't start normally.
    When the Wndows is load, i have a little windows : " Please insert the external storage media, and press OK ! "

    Did you have a USB flash drive connected when you did the upgrade? My guess is that windows.old is on that flash drive and that is what Windows 10 is looking for. I suspect inserting that flash drive and running a thorough disk cleanup like option two here:
    Open and Use Disk Cleanup in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Performance Maintenance Tutorials

    will probably fix it.
