Wynona I have a Motorola DROID TURBO 2 ANDROID VERSION 7
But guess what????? I actually found the link to the Cloud..All by myself. HOLY TOLEDO!!!
I had 786 pictures on my phone. 88% of the memory used. I thought my pictures were stored on my phone.
Since I deleted the pictures and cleared my cache I can't send pictures now. I had it ready to send and now get the tone when I get a new message chiming over anf over and the message is not sent.
Can I delete AIM as I never use it? Thanks so much for your help.
No worries...thanks
Yes. On your desktop/laptop, check Control Panel>Category>Programs>Uninstall a Program and see if AIM is listed. If it is, uninstall it from there. Also, check to see if it's installed on your 'Droid and if so, uninstall that also.
Have you notified AOL that you no longer need their service(s)? If so, and if you have AOL's email app still on your computer, delete, uninstall, whatever it takes to get rid of it.
Finding the Cloud all by yourself is called Progress! Also, it's called self-help.
I've read ahead and saw your reply to Bob (Computiac). I just gave you instructions, which I hope will work for you. If not, check out this link: Uninstall the AOL Desktop Software in Windows 7/8/Vista - AOL Help and here: Manually delete AOL folders in Windows 10/8/7/Vista - AOL Help
I think the links are related, since both have an April 26, 2017 date.
You'll get there . . . It's just gonna take time.
I am still here, haven't gotten rid of AOL yet. Having Rotator Cuff Surgery next week. Trying to get everything ready now as after surgery prolly won't be able to use the computer for several months if it goes like the last time.
Thanks everyone for their help and patience. I will be back.....
Eileen
I'm so sorry, Eileen! Surgery is never something we want to indulge in.
I'm having a couple of skin cancers (one basal cell and one squamous) removed next Wednesday. I hope your surgery goes better this time than the last.
While you're waiting, see if you can get Text to Speech to work for you. No, I'm not familiar with it, except that I know it's there. But if you can get it working, you may be able to play on the computer a little bit.
