Far as getting Tenforums on Chrome, of course, it's only a web site. The best one there is :), but just like any other site. Your posts follow your profile here, not any particular browser.

Feeling a bit uncomfortable with Chrome at the minute. I don't see old, recently deleted emails, like on AOL.

I am nosing around and pushing buttons and clicking. It's like learning a 2 new languages at a time.

Eileen, we're going to have to properly distinguish between things here, if we're going to help with this:

-Chrome is a browser. Just like Internet Explorer, or FireFox, or Edge, or AOL Browser. A browser takes you around the internet, to pages and other things like online email. Chrome is by Google.

-Gmail is an email service. It replaces your AOL email service (once you get everything switched from your old AOL email to your new Gmail email). Gmail is by Google.

So, just like AOL provided you with a Browser and email service, so too Google is providing you with a Browser (Chrome) and email service (Gmail).

So, Chrome, the browser, is not an email service. If you want to see your deleted emails in Gmail, you go to the Trash folder - they should all be there. Deleted items reside in the trash - they don't really get deleted, unless you go into the trash and delete them from there.

Gmail email is quite different from AOL email and will take some getting used to, to be sure, but you'll be much better off in the long run. :)

In your profile at Tenforums, you'll want to change your email address from AOL to Gmail, so you'll get emails from the forum.

If you want to see the "restore saved content" option, click to reply to my post, type something in, then close the tab before submitting the reply. Then, come back here, and reply again, and you should see the option.
