    Hi Eileen.
Open Chrome and do the following key combination:

    Ctrl+Shift+O

That should open a tab with all your bookmarks in it. If you imported your AOL bookmarks, they will be there. They *may* be in a folder that you need to expand.

Hmmm...I just tried it, importing an HTML file of exported bookmarks from Firefox, and it worked fine.
The HTML file you have on your desktop from exporting from AOL - that's what you imported? and it is an HTML file, right?
and what shows in the file folder Imported1?

Okay after I get this far... Is someone taking screen shots of my computer?-2017_05_02_02_11_251.png

the word Import came up, I click it and it shows I can save to the desktop if I only knew what file name to type in. I tried Favorites/Bookmarks, HTML Bookmarks not Edge is what I chose......not it. How am I supposed to know the name of the file? I tried both names on the page above....

I thought you already exported your AOL favorites to your desktop? What is that filename/where is it?

These were the instructions to export your AOL favorites to an HTML file. Where is this file you exported?

already looked at this....the above screenshot is where I am now....same screen as your screenshot.I click on IMPORT and a screen comes up wanting the name of the file so it can save on my desktop. No matter what it says I don't know the file name. So sorry I am taking up so much your time.

Lost a post. I deleted the HML file last night after thinking we had it fixed and sent file to the recycle bin and deleted it. I can't get it to give me the name of file to save to desktop.
