Hello, I also am having this problem. No text. No where. Teensy weensy empty context menus. Thank goodness I have a second computer to look here for help. Unfortunately, there is no text to be able to SEE where to open a command line. I happened to use it the other day for a system check, and managed to open one by guessitmating the location. (no text, remember) The command line box opened but ...no text. I could not see a prompt nor see what I typed. So I could not see if it even ran, or what the results would have been. I managed to figure out just about where the restart option was and tried it, but the problem was still there after restart. I would love to share what processor I have ..an I7 something but I found directions to revert back to my original windows 10. Hope I get my text back. I will be checking here to see if any fixes have been found. BTW, I do not run Comodo.

If a 3rd party program is causing this you can check by trying a clean boot (or Safe Mode, which is easier to try).

Then it's a process of elimination.

I was able to fix this by removing Comodo Internet Security. It seems the latest Windows 10 Creator update has a conflict with Comodo at the moment.

Given that Comodo supposedly addressed the issue with an update some weeks ago, can you please clarify exactly which version of Comodo you are running? (You've said it's the latest, but can you please check and report back. I'll take it to the Comod support forum if I then also have the same issue after I try uninstalling as I still can't get it to work, but I haven't tried permanently and fully uninstalling Comodo yet.)

Hello. I don't think I had the latest and I didn't know the update solved the issue. The version I was running was 10.0.0.6092 (I downloaded it back in February)

I probably had to update the application. I didn't know that they released an update that fixed the issue. Thanks for letting me know.

Hello, I had same problem. It's working properly in Safe Mode. I don't have any additional antivirus ( only Defender ). System is quite fresh ( installed 5 days ago ) and Creators Update installed 2 days ago. It happend with application freeze with no special action of user. I tried to fix fonts with application from this thread: Missing Fonts After Creators Update Installed but it didn't help so I've restored last restore point - that helped. Anyway very annoying thing.

I'm experiencing the same problem: I have the icons with NO TEXT. I have meus with NO TEXT at all. I cannot perform ANY task nor run commands. I just installed Win 10 Pro, Office 365 Personal, Norton Security and ran Updates from Microsoft.
    Customer System: Intel DG45ID, Pentium 4 FSB 800MHz, 4GB PC 2-6400 Cl6-240p, HD Sata 250GB.
I reinstalled four times. Clean install, HD reformatted. The problem keeps appearing after a day or two. Very annoying. It makes the PC useless!!!

Had the same issue. After the initial CU install, icons were correct but on first reboot, text disappeared. Tried rebooting several times, sfc /scannow, etc but still missing text.

I have Norton, not Comodo, and am running with an AMD FX-8370. Had to go back to AE to be able to see anything. Not going to upgrade to CU until things smooth out.
