    • Uninstall/reinstall
    • Look for updated versions (lightworks, roayal ts v4)
    • Star Craft 2 is 7 years old and may experience issues on a new OS.

Have you looked at the StarCraft forums to see what issues they may be experiencing under the new OS and what their fix/suggestions may be? I'd start there first.

Not familiar with the other two programs but perhaps a reinstall may work. Perhaps updated versions?

Arrange the icons as you want them THEN LOG OUT. It is only at logout that windows (any version) saves the icon positions to be restored at next log on.

OK.....I still have a couple windows 7 Pro keys that have never been activated left from my TechNet days......was hoping I might be able to use one of them to activate a new install on a new build.........but from your answer it looks like that is not possible....
    Hi there

    still works

The trick is first UPDATE - then you can do a clean install if you want to.

    Cheers

Strange thing.. After installing CU, I error messages, trying to post pictures in Facebook, when using Chrome, or Firefox. It works properly in Edge, the FB app, and thankfully, Opera

None of my desktop icons will stay in place nor can I put them where I want them. The only placements that seem to work are the Auto arrange and Align to Grid. I had to get DesktopOK to keep them where I had them but if I add a new icon or want to move one I'm out of luck. I'm getting the same behavior on 2 machines, a Laptop with Home and a Desktop with Pro.

Are you by chance using Classic Shell or any other add on like that?

    In Settings/Privacy/Other devices

it is listing multiple windows phone entries (4) under other devices. I don't have that many windows phones. I guess it should be just one entry?

I've read of one temp fix for the windows defender exclamation icon issue with the brightness warning on a plugged in laptop. What you do is you set your brightness to 99 instead of a full100 and restart and you should not get the warning again. On my second day of it and so far no warning.
