Yeah I agree. My machine is very fast now. Also easiest update by far some minor issues aside.

I now have Creator on 4 systems on my network. It has broken a couple of things that I need to get fixed.

One laptop had Windows Hello using a fingerprint reader. It now "isn't available on this device". I need a work around for this. The FP device and driver are fine and have not changed.

My desktop is no longer accessible from any other machine. I cannot figure out why. I did not use homegroup previously, but I did set it up on my desktop. When I open any device's network settings it tells me my desktop has setup a homegroup, but on the desktop it asks me if I want to join now.

The following items changed and were restored:
My "illegal" apps of old version games and gadgets.

    Registry entries were reset:
    the "shortcut" text

the duplicate drive entries on the File Explorer navigation window - strangely, it did not change on one device???

Default apps: MS really want you to use EDGE for everything, PDF files most notably. They must be having a feud with Adobe.

Any ideas about Windows Hello and the network???

I'm downloading CU now and I already did some backups of my stuff, disconnected things in USB ports and just left what I really need like K+M.

Anyone got the PC messed up by CU? Can I rollback if things break? Should I wait? It's still downloading and I don't even know if it will force me to update after the end of the download or if I can wait for a week or a month :)

I ask that cause my PC got messed up by the Anniversary one even when I always proud myself of leaving my PC's as clean as possible I THINK what messed up the AU last time was AVAST and COMODO firewall but they never gave me problems on Win7 sooo... This time I only have Windows Defender and I disabled Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit and I think the free version of Malwarebytes Anti Malware can't hurt anything since it does not have the real time protection!

Since I upgraded to CU, everything is running fine except for monitor calibration gamma. It doesn't stay. As soon as I run some game the game reverts back to uncalibrated state. I have tried different driver revisions for my nVidia card. No luck.

Other thing I have noticed is two minor translation typos for the spanish translation.

One of them is for Windows defender: When right-clicking instead of saying OPEN (Abrir), it says OPENED (Abierta [feminine voice])

Another one is for the cleanup tool: Antivirus de Windows Defender. That "de" is out of place. It shoud just say "Antivirus Windows Defender" -> Windows Defender Antivirus.

How are you calibrating your monitor? What software are you using?

    Till now it's perfect! :)

I just got a problem where Windows Explorer was not highlighting selected files or folders but a restart fixed it!

I had to enable system restore again but not the end of the world. Also I always need to disable that fast start up Windows 10 has after this big updates. Would be awesome if they keep or configurations

OK, I am still afraid to try the CU. However, I was planning to do a full Macrium Reflect Backup Image and then try CU. If I mess anything up or even if it or Office 2016 get deactivated, can I restore the image and I will be back to normal? I mean MS will not tell me that my activation is no longer good on the restored image as it knows I tried a CU Upgrade.

I guess I am over thinking this!

    Num Lock finally sticks!

Not a quirk, but a thank you Microsoft good thing...

Num Lock key now sticks upon restart/system boot. Noticed it on my backup machine but thought I was imagining things. Nope... just upgraded my main rig and the same... Num Lock sticks. Thank you MS!!!

This never work on 10, even when you had it (num lock) enabled in BIOS. Now that issue is fixed. Finally :)

I have tried calibrating it with built-in Windows calibrating screen and from within nVidia's Control Panel. Neither of these stay after exitting some games, mainly Grim Dawn and Counter Strike: GO
