    What dll's do I install

    Hi,
I am running Windows 10 64 bit Home on a Dell desktop, with an Intel duel core processor at 3.10GHz and 8 GB of Ram.
I also use Paint Shop Pro 9 graphics program, and have always had to install some dll's in order for my plug-ins to work in the PSP9 program.
Can anyone tell me what dlls I need, and where to get them, in windows 10, in order for my plugins to work in Paint Shop Pro 9?
    Thanks in advance,

    Welcome to the forums dino84!

Not really sure which you need, as everyone needs/wants different things. You should be able to get them here :

    Thanks for the welcome indianacarnie.
The dll's I need are the ones that allow effects to work in the Paint shop Pro Program...I still use PSP9 and Corel does not support that program anymore....I may have to go to a newer program while running Windows 10.
Appreciate the reply, and will inquire at the Paint Shop Pro groups and forums...to see if the can give me any info..

There's absolutely no way anyone can say what dlls you need to get plugins working when you haven't even stated what these plugins are. And you shouldn't have to install dll's manually to get a plugin to work unless you're hacking the program.

Anyway good luck at the Paint Shop Pro forums.

    Peace

The standard ones I have always had to insert into Windows System32 folder in Windows 7, have always been the plugin.dll, icmfilter.dll, Msvcrt10.dll and MSVCRT10.DLX. I have been told that there are a couple of more that are needed for Windows 10. I'm not sure if this is correct, and probably can best be understood by those who use Paint Shop Pro in Windows 10. I just thought maybe some one in the forum might know. It could also be that Windows 10 has already installed all the dlls that are needed for using Paint Shop Pro in Windows 10..

Those aren't telling me nothing. What are the plugin names???

Unless you mean you need to install dlls to get Paint Shop Pro to work? If so, this may indicate a form of piracy in which this site does not support.

And for the record I know about photo editing programs as I use both Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom with plugins from both Topaz and Nik (now Google Nik). I know this isn't paint shop pro, but...

Yes, that's right. Without the dlls, Paint Shop pro will not work with effects like Alien Skin Xenofex, IC Net Filters Unlimited, Graphics Plus, Flaming Pear, Eye Candy, etc... I guess I didn't make it clear enough, sorry about that....If you use
Photoshop, then you know the effects that I'm talking about.....

Yeah, I know, and had some of them like Eye Candy, Xenofex, Splat, but those program are like a 100 years old. No wonder you're trying to hack them to work. Good luck there :)

Why are ya'll accusing this person of trying to hack Paint Shop Pro? When I purchased my Paint Shop Pro a few years ago from Corel, I had to add the missing dll files as well to get some filters to work. It's not a hack, it's a fix. I'm having the same problem the op is having right now. Trying to find those dll files so I can get them on my new computer so my PSP 8 plugins, Eye Candy, (that I also paid for in a box set of 3), will work.
