Windows 10: taskbar preview

    taskbar preview

I've been using my taskbar to hover over the icon for a preview of an open window. Then when I hover over the actual preview, I was getting a screen size view of the window that I could read. Somehow I lost that function. I can still hover over the icon and get a small preview, but when I hover over the preview, it no longer gives me a screen size view. Anyone know where I can enable this function again? Thanks!

Hello Larry, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

This would be the taskbar thumbnail live preview. Check using the tutorial below to see if you still have the default delay time set. If not, change it to the default time to see if that may help.

I'm OK with the different look of 7/8/10, but I really miss the XP feature of seeing essentially the contents of the open browser tab mirrored in the taskbar icon. Is there any way to get that functionality in Win 10? Thanks! 62255
