    Duplicate Documents in Open dialog

I have just reinstalled Window 10 Pro (to a new disk). I can see a Documents folder under OneDrive and I can see a Documents folder under Libraries.
However when I try using Word to open a file in my xxxxx\Users\Documents folder it opens in OneDrive\Documents instead.
How can I get Open to look in my 'proper' Documents folder?
Apparently I can't delete the OneDrive folder, so what can I do here???

Hi norman1312, and welcome to Tenforums.

You can set default open and save in Word. Go to Options / Save (or General) and select the default location.

    Duplicate Documents

I'm now finding it's not just Word. Everywhere I need to open a document, it's going to the wrong place.
Latest example is Visual Studio. It's looking in the wrong place for a profile.
I'll change the Word default. But I'm still working my way around the new system.
Oh, ALL the Office programs are doing the same thing. I'll check if they can all be changed the same way.
    Do you know?
