Show windows contents while dragging:

    Show windows contents while dragging:


    Every few days I have to go into System Properties > Advanced > Performance > Settings and click Adjust for best appearance (even though it is already selected) then OK out of all of these dialog boxes. If I don't do this the windows are just wireframes like back in Windows 3.1 days when dragging.

    Its already always selected for best appearance, so what causes it to revert back to wireframe even if show window contents while dragging is selected?

    Hello kjstech, :)

    One possibility is if you make any changes to the Ease of Access settings in the Control Panel, it will cause your Visual Effects settings to be reset to default.

    I haven't personally gone in there.

    Could using logmein to access my computer remotely cause this? Or any other remote access tool?

    It is possible, decreasing quality lowers lag and bandwidth, check its settings, this one is from teamviewer.
