    Annoying occasional alert like sound


    Win 10. There are no alarms set. System sounds had been muted. Narrator and Text-to-Speech turned off. Silent period 7PM to 7AM. At 1 AM and other times there were loud double bells clangs. At other random times, many hours apart, there have been loud symbol crashes.

    Yes, this has been going on for some time with many restarts. I've tried restarting in safe mode. Unfortunately, I don't have audio in safe mode. That a different unresolved problem.

Random Asterisk Alert Sound

Every few minuets I'm hearing the asterisk sound either once, or multiple times with no corresponding message. It happens within every few minuets at random intervals, and will sound 1-3 times.
