    W10 update

    Hi guys,

Recently W10 'kindly' automatically updated my computer which has left me several inconveniences!

    1. I now have to 'sign on' with a password to get into my own computer??
Can I delete this function, or at least, is there a Remember Me procedure? I have that many passwords in my life. It's hard enough trying to remember half of them.

    2. My 'Favourites' icon no longer works.
If I want to save a site to my Favourites folder I used to be able to press the Star symbol, which would then come up with "Save to favourites?" Pressing yes would post the site in my Favourites page. The yes option no longer exists.

    Any help is appreciated

Thnx Mike, I finally plucked up courage to follow your instructions!
Everything is so daunting when the likes of 'default settings' and 'ensure backups' are mentioned.
I have got rid of the sign-in prob - many thanks :) I might leave the 2nd account in the background - just in case!!

Mike, it is very comforting to know that there are guys out there willing to help the likes of me.
    Thanks again.
