Request advice in fixing a security error in Windows 10 .

    Hello Everyone,
I tried to follow the instructions of this guide >> (How to Get Access to WindowsApps Folder in Windows 10: >> How to Get Access to WindowsApps Folder in Windows 10 )
I went through all the steps, but when I got to (step #9) where it says "open the “Select User or Group window and enter your administrator username and click on the button Check Names" .This action will automatically fill in the object name. Well that does not happen for me I keep getting a "An object (user, group, or built in security principal) with the following name>>MY NAME<< can not be found" error. Can anyone help me with this security issue?:)

Take ownership of the folder and grant Administrators group rights to access/change it.

TairikuOkami , I followed the instructions of another link and it WORKED Thank You. The was another link with the same instructions except .... instead of me entering the word (administrators) I was told by the other link to enter My user name which did NOT work. Then when I read your link the instructions were slightly different and now I can see my files. Thank You very much . Do a System Restore to a time before you did this.

To remove Windows.old you do not go to the WindowsApps folder
Go to Settings/System/Storage and useStorage Sense to remove it
