    If you wouldn't mind sharing what is in your Startup tab (within Task manager). Take a screen shot of active windows (Alt +Print screen).

    Ken,
    You may have inadvertently solved the audio problem. When I looked at the Task Manager I saw TtsReader was there. I'm visually impaired and use it selectively. Its upgraded version, apparently, reads all copies indiscriminately rather only when I want. When it was turned off the audio problem went away.

Narrator in General Support
All of a sudden, the "Narrator", auto-starts on boot-up while "Narrator" is turned off in 'Ease of Access'. I can exit Narrator but cannot find out why it is auto-starting?
