Windows 10 no longer display ANY icons??

After a reboot yesterday, windows 10 no longer displays icons.

    I've tried...
    • new user account
    • deleting icon cache
    • system restore

    I have a screenshot attached.

Anyone have a clue what's happening?

    Hi, have you tried this?
Icon Cache - Rebuild in Windows 10

(The extensive and professional quality Tutorial section is well worth browsing/searching).
This forum can also be used as a resource - others have experienced this:
The icons on desktop have disappeared but labels still there

Which build do you have- is it an Insider build?
    (Windows key + R, winver)
