    Win10 x64 hanging


    Hi
    My Win10 x64 randomly hangs for about 5 min and then comes back.
    Anyone with the same behaviour? how can i know if it's HDD related?

    found a Windows error report at + or - the same time of last hang and here it is, related files are not in given directories

    Hi marcosdipaolo.

    If you suspect your harddrive you can run chkdsk /r from command prompt(admin)

    To check disk health you could get CrystalDiskInfo from Crystalmark.info

    If you type Reliability Monitor into Cortana and start that app what is it reporting?

    While this is not a true BSOD I wonder if the folks in that section of the forum would have the tools to read the dmp file produced.

    Lets see what you find with HDD and the reliability monitor.
