So once again a big bug is caused by a mostly unwanted 'feature' of Windows 10. In this case supid unnecessary apps that no one is interested in. Why can't users just uninstall this appstore and all the added shit? I never use it, like most people.

Hi Win10use. According to post #196 in System Restore fails: AppxStaging %ProgramFiles%\WindowsApp 0x80070091, MS is working on fixing this. My thinking is that VSS is too important to kick to the curb.

    Hi,

Updated an oldish Dell Optipex 745 and ran into similar errors as most posters here.
Do any of you guys also get CAPI2 errors in EV when running backup software that uses VSS ?

Reason I ask is because solving that solved all the other errors as well.

    Cheers,

Yes I get them as well but the backup completes successfully so I'm not all that worried about it.

Same here but I got rid of the Wcifs errors as well. If anyone's interested I'll share how I resolved it.

    Hi,

From an elevated prompt run this hardware code:

    Code:
    sc sdset MSLLDP D:(D;;CCDCLCSWRPWPDTLOCRSDRCWDWO;;;BG)(A;;CCDCLCSWRPWPDTLOCRSDRCWDWO;;;SY)(A;;CCDCLCSWRPDTLOCRSDRCWDWO;;;BA)(A;;CCDCLCSWRPWPDTLOCRSDRCWDWO;;;SO)(A;;LCRPWP;;;S-1-5-80-3141615172-2057878085-1754447212-2405740020-3916490453)(A;;CCLCSWLOCRRC;;;SU)S:(AU;FA;CCDCLCSWRPWPDTLOCRSDRCWDWO;;;WD)
    Restart the machine.

    Cheers,
How do I select and copy all on the text from a code box? I know one way is to do a reply and then copy it from the reply window but there must be an easier way.
