Restoring my Documents folder
Hello,
I was just in the process of moving my Documents Library from my C drive to my D drive when I made a mistake:
In the Properties window, under the location tab, I meant to create the new location D:\Documents, but instead I just left it as D:\
Now my D drive and my Documents Library appear to have somehow merged, and I can't seem to do anything to separate them again. When I try to Restore Default, I get an error message saying "Failed to build the list of regular subdirectories under 'D:\System Volume Information.' Access is denied." And when I try to move it to where I originally wanted it to go, the new location D:\Documents, I get an error message saying "Can't redirect a parent into a child. The specified path is invalid."
Is there any way to fix my mistake? I guess I can probably just make a new folder in the D Drive called Documents, move all the folders that were in my original Documents Library there, and call it a day - but I'd really like to be able to undo what I've done and then redo it properly, so that all pathways are 'clean,' if that makes sense.
Thanks in advance for your help.
