ASUS K75DE Laptop here that I am very pleased with. And two very old desktop motherboards that have never given me any issues hardware wise. An M4N68T-M V2 and an M2N68-AM SE2. Their Tech Support sucks though IMHO. I had a software issue with my laptop and they were very slow responding to e-mails. It was days and days between replies. Luckily it wasn't a big issue and didn't impact use of the laptop.

But what I am saying is... the Dell has a faster processor. My Toshiba that I have right now has a faster processor than the ASUS as well. So would it be better for me to go with the Dell since I do photography since it's got a faster processor?

The Acer Aspire we have in our house and shops are fast including downloading and uploading photo's web sites and menu
They come at a reasonable price as well and easy to carry and use in the car or van
My System spec are there if you want to know more about it.
Used to have Toshiba but compared to Acer they were slow
From switching on to getting online with all programs loaded takes about 30 secs

I had an Acer that I liked. The only thing I didn't like about it was that Acer wouldn't stand behind their product in terms of future driver updates. They didn't even support my product for Windows 10. We have an Acer Desktop that has been great. But they only supported the first version of Windows 10 for it. Thats why I don't want another Acer.

Think you will find that they have improved a lot I have all the latest drivers and updates on all my Acers and also insider Office 2016 and 365 and they are even faster now than what it was when I first got them.
All I removed from all of them was McAfee Anti-virus and let Windows Defender handle it along with the firewall
On mine I have Acer Care which works in the background and it makes sure the drivers and Acer updates are fully up to date.
I would never go back to a Dell or Toshiba again
Just looked online and Acer is one of the top fastest selling laptops in the world
Price ranging from Ł180 to Ł600
I know when I got our 8 I had to wait 2 days because where I brought them from had only 2 left
They phoned their main warehouse and within 2 days delivered straight to my address
If we decide to upgrade in 2 years time we have all agreed we will buy Acer again
Just thought that might help abit
As 3 of them are online 24/7 365 days of the year
