How to change ink colour and font size Office 10

I am using Windows 10 with Office10, and am trying to discover how to permanently to change the font size from eleven to 14 also to change the ink colour permanently to black rather than blue. I have looked in Settings but cannot see anything that will alter Office10, Can anyone help please?

The actual method used may vary slightly depending on version of word involved but the basic settings for the defaults in word documents are held in a template called Normal.dot or Normal.dotx.

Take a look here for some basic instructions ...

Yes, setting the template files is the way to do this. I had to setup group policy at my job to push standard template files out as the office wanted a 10 point font instead of 11, since the owner was a numerology guy and 11 is an unlucky number.

There was Office 10 but it applied to the versions of the applications within the Office XP suite. This is what happens when people shortcut the names and versions of programs, gets things confused. Computers are all about precision/accuracy in all things, tell them to do things and they do it very fast, tell them to do the wrong thing they will do it fast, wrong.

    Chart, about half way down:

Perhaps Office 10 is binary, and it's Office 2.
