About that... I just upgraded to the first major update release of Windows 10 and am now running Windows 10 Pro 10.0.10586. The good news is that the BUG reported in this thread has been fixed for the Windows Explorer Window. YAY!! The bad news is that the bug still exists for the Edge browser window. GRR...

Do like me and NEVER use Edge.
What's the point when none of the features promised are there and Firefox still blocks ads to this day.

Seriously BIG DEAL I can draw on a web page.
9 out of the 10 preinstalled apps I removed from 10586.
What was also interesting is that Microsoft is starting down the road of Bloatware with the Candy Crush Soda app just ready for you to play on first run.

We the people tend to play games like Fallout 4 and Call of Duty 3 yet I have been lowered to uninstalling Candy FKNG Crush from Microsofts Flagship OS.

Good points. However, the bug still exists and should be fixed.

I highly doubt that this "bug" is going to be on MS's to do list.

Yep, Edge jumps about 10mm to the right each time. When it hits the right edge of the screen it next jumps back to the left edge (sorry about all the edges!).

I don't use Edge, like many here, but it is still a bug.

Why would MS fix the same issue with File Explorer but it's highly doubtful the same bug in Edge isn't going to be on MS's to do list? Even so, I have to say I am actually surprised the same issue with File Explorer was addressed - didn't see that coming.

If the window height is sized smaller than the height of the screen it also jumps down each time as well.

That's what I do so never noticed. If not maximized Edge seems to jump around at random for me. Not just down and left a bit like explorer used to but up and down and left and right. Odd.

+1, plus I never thought that the location issue was a bug that bothered me all that much. As long as it worked I really didn't care where it popped up.

    Two things though:

    - at least Edge doesn't spill onto the next monitor when hopping around through repeated opening and closings like Explorer used to!

    - also, if the window edge/screen edge margin is very small, Edge will only remember approx. 6 positions:

... if the margin is large, Edge will remember about 20 positions!
