Multiple monitors. How do I make apps open on the screen launched from

Basically, if I launch Firefox using the taskbar on monitor one I want it to open on monitor one, and if I launch it from monitor 2 I want it to open on monitor 2. I don't want it to just default to the previous configuration every time. is that possible? If it's of any help the monitors are each plugged into their own video card, both are AMD R9 290s

Have you downloaded AMD's Crimson software? You should have everything sticking to where it was when you shut down. They should not be changing even if you are not using the Crimson software. It has been an annoyance for a while. I take it that you have even tried swapping which monitor is Monitor 1 and Monitor 2. All display drivers are up to date, along with same resolution on both monitors. Make sure that "Auto Detect" is also disabled on both monitors.

I believe DisplayFusion can also achieve what you need.

That's like the exact opposite of my problem. I said "how do I" and not "why does"
