    Windows 10 Graphical Boot Menu

    I tried switching to the graphical boot menu though the cmd but when I restart it is still the text based one. Is there something I am missing?

    Boot up Windows 10. Open Admin Command:
    bcdboot %windir%

    You can also try running;
    msconfig

    on the boot tab, make sure No GUI boot is not checked. You can also try checking it, click apply, then unchecking it and apply again.

    You may've submitted the wrong command. Try with bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy standard

    That is what I did first. It's fine though doing what the first guy said seems to have got it running correctly.

    I want the text boot, the one where you see the drivers loading while you boot windows. How do I get that old boot?

    That's a function of BIOS. Turn of Quick boot or something worded similarly.
