Install the updated programs one at a time, and test. You should be able to determine which is causing the problems.

Before trying that, you can try those 3 in this order. You can stop, when it is fixed.
CCleaner (run reg cleaner as well)

Hello,
Thanks for the answer, but before starting cleaning, I want to be prepared for the moment I'll have to use Macrium to recover the system. My Macriun program was recently updated (there are not new updates yet). After the update I have done a new rescue cd. Reading carefully Macrium manual, I have learned it is possible to recover the system without the recovery cd, if there is a recovery boot menu added.
So here is my question (also for any other member who can help):
1. Can I use the option to add a recovery boot menu now, I think the windowsPE is on the cd.
Attached down here the list of files in the Reflect folder.
2. If I add a recovery boot menu, what happens when starting the machine normaly, is there something
to change / modify in the normal boot sequence.
Right now the boot sequnce is first from the optical drive then second from the system disk.
Waiting for some detailed answers please.
Thanks

Hello,
After trying everything to unpin an orfan tile from Start for almost two weeks unsuccesfully, I decided to use the macrium image which will bring back my pc as it was almost a month ago. Started making a list of possible affected programs and checked the internet if there are some new versions, found some. One was a new version of "Handbrake", so before going to start the restore, I installed this new version - it made a shortcut on the desktop, and since it had a tile in Start, opened the Start, and that orfan unpinable tile Gone.
As I wrote before, this orfan tile was an old program which was removed some time ago.
So this new installation saved me from making the restore.
Some story.
Again thanks to all who tried to help me with that problem.
