How to remove these tiles?

    my explorer restarts everytime i logon. just noticed it coz my desktop icons rearrange themselves. weird.

    Yeah, if you're running 14997 you'll see a lot of weird hiccups!

    If you get a mess on the Start Menu, much like I've got, every time you logon, then stuff them all in a 'Live Folder'and they'll stay there!

    thanks. i tried stuffing them all in and poof! they disappeared! lol! they're gone now. but still unable to drag new apps to tile.

    Yeah, you can't drag from the 'List' and drop in the 'Tile' area, the Tile area is a unique environment. You need to right click items in the list and choose Pin to Start cuz that command has to create a manifest of some sort that points to that 'virtual' Tile (shortcut) in order for the 'Live Tile' environment to function properly. Dragging and Dropping would create havoc.
