    TenForums.com 2016: A look back

Our virtual home TenForums.com went online on October 8th, 2013 (then with old name NineForums.com). I joined a day later, being one of the oldest members and proud of it :).

Screenshot from November 26th, 2013. We had 95 members on that day :):

Beginning was slow, understandably because it took a year before we even had the first technical preview to test and talk about. A full year we just dreamed about Windows 9 (as we then thought), talking about what it might give us. Finally, on October 1st 2014 first technical preview build was released: Windows 10 Build 6.4.9841. The name of our forums was changed and TenForums.com was officially born.

First half of year 2015 was still time of enthusiasm, only the hard core geeks and Windows fans joining us. Beginning of January we had 69K posts in 2K threads posted by 1,300 members. August 1st 2015, three days after the official launch of Windows 10 it was 200K posts in 9K threads by 7,200 members. Rest is history: by the end of the year 2015 we had over 400K posts in almost 30K threads by over 42,000 members :)

Here's how that changed in 2016:

Not to forget our 1,100+ Windows 10 tutorials and 100+ videos :)

From a member to a member: I wish you geeks all a Happy and Prosperous 2017. It's nice to meet you here, work and spend some time together, find and fix issues and learn more. TenForums.com is my virtual home because of you, I enjoy to be here with you geeks :)

Special thanks to the site owner @z3r010 for giving us this place to stay and to admin @Brink & the Mod Squad for keeping the place safe. See guys, you've done your job well when you have taught even arrogant SOBs like me to behave (it's years from my last warning or infraction!). I still think some of my binned posts shouldn't have been binned but I forgive you

See you guys here on TenForums.com also in 2017!

Or as in my case, 365 more days to screw it...

Best wishes for a safe, prosperous and not-too-interesting year for all in 2017. Looking forward to learning more, doing more, and lots more opportunities to be stunned and amazed by the problems people encounter, and the ingenious solutions they create to get around them.
