What he said wasI think 'ex:' was meant as an abbreviation for 'except/excluding' rather than 'example' in the above. I had Windows 10 EN-US installed as the upgrade for my OEM W7 (long story short: Toshiba's chosen OS for a UK model was a US base language!). I lost all my installed UK language packs with the upgrade to 1511. Rather than go through all that again with the next upgrade, I did an in-place install of 1511 EN-GB to switch my base language to UK English. Now, like Brink, I have UK spelling working in 'some of the other included desktop apps' such as IE11, but excluding notepad.It works for me in Internet Explorer and some of the other included desktop apps (ex: notepad) in Windows 10
