"size:gigantic" search filter not working properly
A few days back it was working perfectly, but now it is missing a lot of files in the search result.
Anything I can do to fix this ?

You are missing a lot of files because you are telling Windows to eliminate them with that filter option. What exactly are you trying to achieve?
No, what I mean is that this filter is missing a lot of files greater than 128MB. There are more than 3000 files on my PC which have a size >128MB, but the search result is stuck on 2608 i.e, no matter how many files >128MB I add to my PC, it is only displaying a fixed amount of 2608 files
The Gigantic filter strips out large files. If you have not indexed the drive, it will not show any files larger than 128 meg. Also these filters never are something that has ever worked with neutered File Explorer. If you want a better way to search, use a third party tool that does what you want.
@Raiz, do you get same results, I mean search limiting the output to 2,608 files if you use size:>128MB instead?
That is so completely wrong I don't know where to start.
- In Windows Search, filter size:gigantic is the same as filter size:>128MB, It finds and shows all files that are bigger than 128 MB.
- Windows Search works perfectly, finding exactly what user wants to find, subject to correct filters and arguments have been used.
I always laugh a bit when I see these "you need a third party tool" posts for something Windows does well by itself, with its native tools. Like this eternal Windows Search stuff; opinions about how bad it is and how OP must use a third party search tool seem to come mostly from members who do not know how to use Windows Search :)
Back on our sister site Seven Forums this same debate about Windows Search went on and on years ago. On several occasions I had to prove my point, this one posted over six years ago but the results still apply in Windows 10: More on search hell - Page 6 - Windows 7 Help Forums
In above linked post I am comparing Windows Search and File Locator Lite, which is almost identical with Agent Ransack. I've tested a great number of third party search tools, comparing them to Windows Search, never found one that beats it.
