Windows 10: How do i stop the uncompact on my android tablet???

    How do i stop the uncompact on my android tablet???

    I uncompacted my android tablet a few days ago and I cant stop it. It says Select C:\360UnCompact\Uncompact.exe. help me how do i get my tablet off of this so i can use it??? Im in desperate need of help... This is what im seeing now

    Welcome to the Ten forums.

    You may wish to google resetting device. You likely already have tried powering down and on, a soft reset.

    If it is stuck in a loop I would search google on how to do a "Factory or Hard Reset"

    Caution.... this deletes all data. Pictures, contacts, texts, notes, installed games etc. There may be other cautionary notes with respect to your specific tablet. Hopefully you were backing device up to Google.

    There are also some very good Android forums sites which may be better versed in the ways of Android. Good luck.

    I really done something

    I have no clue what i have done but now my android tablet wont turn on. Lol... Uugghh... I have been messing with this thing for 2 weeks now all because windowd said i needed to update to windows 10 and ever since i tried to update my tablet has been unusable and i don't have money to go buy another one. I had everything important up there... All my business information and everything. But im the dummy who didnt backup any of my files... I dont know what to do...

    I can only recommend Factory / Hard reset. Is it not complex but comes with a toll to your data. If you decide to do, and decision is ssoley yours, I would do it with the power cord in. Google your device, hard reset.

    The procedure is there to use and most makers make this a robust feature. That said everything we do in life has risks. Good luck.

    Is your tablet actually a Windows tablet rather than an Android one? "C:\Windows" looks like a Windows device to me. If you were asked to update Windows 10, that also means that it's a Windows device.

    It appears that you have a third party file compression utility (Compact360) installed, and that you tried to decompress the files for some reason. That could take hours. Did you interrupt the process?

    Can you tell us the make and model of the tablet? That may make it possible to help you.

    Model /Modele: W 101 V2 and it has been running for a lil more than 2 weeks... I searched all over online and asking everyone i know and nothing worked... I was finally getting a lil progress when it shut off and wont come back on no matter what i do

    When windows told me i needed to update i tried to and it kept telling me i had no memory or storage for it to finish so i figured i would delete some stuff i dont need or use... But i knew i had plenty of room but i was following directions. And Bam... Computer started to decompress. Stayed like that for a lil more than 2 weeks.. And tonight i was determined to figure out how to fix it because i had to get to my home buisness stuff amd well now i cant get to anything...

    Great catch bobkn. I just read android and ran with it.

    WytchyMom here is a link to your user manual assuming the full device name is RCA Cambio W101 V2. Looks like you have a reset button on the back of your tablet. There is a trouble shooting section and at the bottom of page 31 that mentions serious problem.

    I would wait to see if bobkn has a better solution.
