    Empty Folders


    Hello,
    While making some search for a file in the system, I found by the way, hundreds of empty folders in the
    C:\users\admin\appdata\local\temp\
    How about deleting them ?

    AppData Local's stuff can be safely deleted. ProgramData temp's stuff can also be safely deleted.
    Not the directories themselves, just the contents :)
    Now, some [dis][agree] concerning Windows Prefetch and Recent.

    I've emptied the Prefetch Folder with the only issue being just a bit more time in opening files I had previously opened.

Non-empty folders issue

I have non-empty folders with an empty icon and my desktop icons are messed up (they have this blank icon but it doesn't fit all of the icons' size but only a part since it's smaller than usual).
Hi again, My c:/users/administrator/appdata/local is chock full of empty subfolders like: {000C498C-FC08-4468-9B95-07B748-F5BE61 How on Earth did they get there and can I safely remove them? Thanx. Edwin
