How do you open that screen? My Settings looks nothing like that? Tablet mode maybe?
That screen is in your action center at the bottom when you go to see a alert.

I thought that might be the case and just found it when you posted. I had to click expand to see all the tiles.

Clicking "All Settings" just takes me to the normal Settings menu I get from the Start Menu.

No "Suggested" tile either? It's not listed in "Add or Remove quick actions". And doesn't show up if I set "Get tips, tricks, and suggestions...." to on. That may be because I'm running the Education version, which doesn't have Cortana.

Those students shouldn't be personalizing their school PCs, they should be learning

I've never seen that screen, on my laptop or desktop PC.Not that I can remember?
Sorry if I mislead you.....screen taken from my Surface Pro 4 with keyboard connected, but was in Desktop Mode.
Sometimes its difficult to remember*which computer I am using...2 laptops and 2 desktops.
Most modern keyboards also are able to alter light settings...all mine do, both laptops and desktops.

addenda.....that bloody asterisk has appeared again, must be a bug.

Indeed, there are tons ways to do it, but without a power management service, neither of them work.

I am waiting for DVI to VGA adapter to be able to use 75Hz and hopefully it will fix this issue as well.

It was the "Open settings" part that threw me off. Its actually in the Notifications Area. I found it a little while after posting. More of guess as to where I thought it might be.

Hi, I was wondering, if anyone knows, how to change brightness on a desktop computer?

My monitor is connected via DVI and it does not allow it, it is locked at 50%, but it looks like 100%.

I can change color modes via monitor, text is like 25%. but it has to be possible to change it somehow.
AMD driver doesn't allow changes?? Picture shows setting for Catalyst, but Crimson have similar..

Edit: it is in my digital panel...
