Windows 10: PCs hang on black screen after sysprep (Win 10 Enterprise)
PCs hang on black screen after sysprep (Win 10 Enterprise)
We are using Windows 10 Enterprise volume license media. We have configured the built-in administrator profile as needed (with apps, etc). We use a simple answer file with CopyProfile=True and a few other settings during the sysprep process. We use the following parameters for sysprep "sysprep /generalize /oobe /shutdown /unattend:c:\install\sysprep-v3.xml". We are using dism to take images of our machines after sysprep.
We don't have any issues during the sysprep/imaging process, but we have a black screen that will hang after the initial OOBE on the image. We always have to power down the computer and turn it back on to move on through the setup. After the hangup and the reboot, it will then ask about "Do you want to allow your PC to be discoverable by other PCs and devices on this network?", then everything seems normal.
This problem is happening on both our desktop image and laptop images, which have completely different hardware.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
I use msn.com as my home page with a fav's bar. The past few days when I move from msn to a fav and after 5 min try to return to msn my screen freezes, something like it times out. How can I correct this ????? Thanks
