    sleep

After wakening from sleep the LAN does not wake needing a reboot to wake. Do I have a major problem?

No, it's not a major problem because you can resume proper networking after a reboot (restart?). But it is a pain in the you-know-what, and if I read the many problems-with-sleep-and-networking related posts on this forum, not at all uncommon. One possible fix is to try to find a better driver for your network connection(s). Please post make and model for your NIC interfaces on your mobo, and your current driver version and we can advise you if there might (or might not) be something better out there to try.

Go to Device Manager, open up your Network adapter like you were going to see the driver. You will notice a Tab called Power Management.

Click on this tab. Uncheck the boxes. Don't allow the computer to shut off.

Watch major Windows updates or if it updates driver. I've seen the check marks reappear and the problem reoccur.
