I noticed in some operating systems an option of iopriority...
What is the io priority option when you right click on a process in the task manager?

I don't see io priority anywhere in Task Manager, only "Set priority" and "Set affinity" when you right-click a process on the Details tab. Not even SysInternals offers io priority access to processes, as I just confirmed for myself by cruising the UI and help files for that application. The only tool I can find that offers explicit control over io priority is Bitsum Process Lasso, a program that comes in both freeware and commercial (Pro) versions.
Can you please tell me where you found this in Task Manager? Love to find my way there...

It was in older systems like vista and maybe 7 but i figured the iopriority is something that can still be done but i was just wondering if theres a specific part in the system that it was for
All documentation regarding IO priority I have found is quite technical and often intended for programmers.. There are utilities that can change this but unless you really understand what you are doing it is best left alone.
IO priority was introduced in Vista and is found in all later systems.
