You can run a CPU stress test, but I wouldn't advise that. Usually the stock Intel CPU Cooler is not able to keep it cool enough to do that. Make sure you have a good CPU Temp monitoring program. You can try a simple virus scan which should put the CPU under enough stress to make the fan speed up. You can also check under the monitoring in BIOS for a different CPU Fan setting. I don't use Gigabyte so am nt familiar, but you usually have different settings for the CPU fan such as silent, aggressive or balanced.
