He upgraded from Windows 7 Enterprise to Windows 10 Enterprise Build 10074, he was able to log in the first few reboots, and now every time he reboots, he is forcefully logged into the Guest account.

He cannot open the Start Menu, access Settings app, nor anything else that could solve the issue (from what I know).

He can open programs in administrator.
If he can open programs as administrator, then he's not using a guest account. Guests are normal users, and cannot open programs as administrator. That alone says that he's using a normal administrative account.

The start menu problem is common among upgrades. There are various fixes, some people find that going into settings and flipping the various start menu access functions fix the problem. How exactly is he trying to access settings if he can't get into start? is search working? If so, you can open settings from there.

Oh I'm aware of the legal matters of the Windows genuine copy. I'm also aware about the Windows 7 already activated. I'll worry about that myself.

OK, no problem. You're new to the forums, or you'd understand why I told you that. So many folks truly don't understand about the upgrade from an older OS to Windows 10.
