Will insiders be able to disable the so called keylogger once.....

If I am going to keep testing builds, I want to be able to disable this when I do banking and shopping. I don't want my card number transferred to Microsoft by a glitch in the so called keylogger. Same for passwords unless I am using Microsoft account of course.

That why I don't use the preview more. If an option appears to disable it, then I would use windows 10 preview more. Right now, I am just using windows 7 along with xubuntu 15.05

I thought this rumor had been put to bed a long time ago. THERE IS NO KEY LOGGER IN WINDOWS 10. There is not, nor has there ever been one. You are being ridiculously paranoid if you believe these false rumors.

Yes, there is verbiage in the EULA that *allows* Microsoft to send information you type to Microsoft, but this is nothing more than the "spell check" feature that has been in Windows since Vista or 7. The a feature that underlines misspelled words sends those words to Microsoft's spell check web service to determine if they are spelled wrong or not. Google does the same thing in Android, as does Apple in iOS.

The feature is typically only used in multi-line input, and not numerical protected fields like those used for credit cards.

You can turn this off in Settings, but you also lose the ability to spell check.

The only other possibility is that crash dumps can result data like credit card information being saved in the dump. However, this is no different than Windows today, which can do the same thing.

Telemetry data does not capture credit cards, in fact, they are required by law to filter anything that looks like credit card data from any logging they do. If they didn't, they would not be able to use credit cards payment processing as the payment processors would not allow them to. This is a standard known as PCI (or Payment Card Industry) certification.

Well it is still a logger of some type.

If MS uses a key logger on my computer they'll die from boredom. Sorry MS, Nothing to see here. :)

MS is only concerned about how we use Win10 and what problem we do or do not have. They are not going to risk a lawsuit over hacking into someones bank account.
