I guess I just got a bad display after all... I mean, It's impossible for me to believe that this laptop, that just has been released this year, with the latest Bristol Ridge APU (A12 9700P) with so "high end, not so high end" specs has to get a crappy monitor...

I'm so killing Acer if that is true!!!... But, you are right, let's wait for the rest to see this thread and say something in the matter... I guess is just as simple as replacing my display with another working one.

Thanks for the goku image though
I also own an acer(Used for dirty work) It's worked fine
so far. No display problems or anything. Acer is not a crappy brand either.
Don't worry be patient, there are folks on here who know more then I do.
As for me like I said I'm going to keep doing what I can to help ya.
As for giving you the avatar goku image... *Jealous*

Well people, I'm just letting you know that I sent the PC to customer service, under warranty, they upgraded the UEFI Bios and now banding issues are gone... if people has this same problem as me with this exact model, your solution is to upgrade to latest BIOS version from this page:
    Product support
It's funny, they specifically uploaded this BIOS revision because of my problem.

If anyone else with display banding problems in this exact model, wants to try, you can always upgrade your BIOS, or let your customer service do it for you.

    Hope this helps

Thanks for the update! Everyone here does what they can to help you and I'm glad you took care of the problem quickly well your system was still under warranty. Many folks are not as lucky as you. I swear some of these systems have a clock, and just as your warranty is up; they start acting up or not working correctly.

It depends on how you treat them. The good thing about Windows 10 is that you practically create your USB to reinstall the OS and you get it back as it was new. Not to mention it can recover itself without instalation media most of the times.

Another thing I'm thankful is that this model came with very little bloatware (I just really uninstalled 3 things, including McAffee, that sucks hard as an AV, the rest is useful in fact). Also, you have to mind the fact that, as tech advances, some programs, like browsers, tend to be heavier, or need features some systems may lack (as SSE2 for FF, or a VGA cappable of doing hardware acceleration without stuttering).

In my case, the stuff I do with Photoshop started to be very demanding and resource taking, my poor old Acer Aspire 4535 was suffering with that a lot, and using the swap file like crazy in some works. Hopefully, it served me well for around 5-6 years! It was just matter of upgrading some drivers from stock, like the VGA and sound card (That improved performance in many stuff).

Normaly, with good maintenance and upgrading drivers when they are needed, you expand the lifespan of your devices way more than the intended time.

Anyhow, yeah, I was lucky... I was afraid they would say the thing was OK and that it was intended to work that way. I'm thankful of that honestly
