    Network drive don't work?

I have 2 computer a Windows 7 and Windows 10. The Windows 7 computer can see the WD MY BOOK 2TB network drive but windows 10 error message is

(This IP address is not accessible. You might not have permission to us this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. A specified logon session does not exist. It may already have been terminated)

I am the administrator because it's my computer at home. When I put in the software everything is ok and the network sees my drive and it is the right letter drive but won't let me access my data?

When I had this , it was caused by an invalid login being automatically used to access the drive by the PC , I had to force my PC to try and access it though a different route.

If you know the IP address of the drive and one of the folders on it , try entering //192.168.1.**/folder/ into the windows explorer bar

This will hopefully force your system to ask for the correct login info , after that it will then set the general login details for the whole drive and you should be able to access it normally.

    Hi:

Just curious: is this the same computer as the one with the email problem, in your other thread?

Yes but the email problem is on the providers side.

The WDC MyBook drives I use, 1TB & 2TB, are USB only. The WDC MyCloud NAS drives I use, 2 x 2TB, are Ethernet connected to the Router. But some Routers have USB ports in them, mine does but I haven't needed it yet.
