I downloaded my mp3 music from my old laptop, which was operating on Windows 8, to a 1TB external hard drive. Now when I try to play the mp3 music on my new laptop, which operates on Windows 10, some of the songs will not play. Can this be corrected?
What program was playing mp3's in Windows 8 before ? In Windows 10, it should, at least, default to Groove unless you have something else installed. Follow the 2 screenshots. R-click any mp3/Open with/Choose another app to get to 2nd screen. Choose preferred or default player/check Always use this .../OK
I downloaded Windows 10 a couple of days ago and after I type in my password this comes on every time after I log on: "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then you can restart".
Windows 10 does not find songs on my Ipod.
I wanted to copy them to my laptop.
Neither Itunes nor Groove Music "sees" them.
It only sees the pictures on the Ipod.
Any pearls of wisdom for me?

I open the windows store and a file immediately began to download. It's labeled as "drm". Anyone familiar with this?
I saw since yesterday the option to upgrade to windows 10 pro. Today I started downloading it. I know of the ISO method and have downloaded that to just in case but this way through windows update seems more smooth and safe or am I wrong?
